Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This Accessibility Statement applies to the Studio Kurosiwo website at https://studiokurosiwo.dev.
Our commitment
Studio Kurosiwo is committed to making its website accessible and inclusive for as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology or circumstance.
We want visitors to be able to:
navigate the Website using a keyboard;
use the Website with a screen reader;
zoom and resize text without losing content or functionality;
understand the content through clear language and consistent structure;
distinguish text, controls and important visual information;
pause or avoid unnecessary motion; and
access meaningful alternatives for images and multimedia.
Accessibility standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
WCAG is an internationally recognised set of recommendations for making digital content more accessible. It is organised around four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
Measures we take
Accessibility is considered as part of the design, development and maintenance of the Website. Measures may include:
using semantic HTML and a logical heading structure;
providing descriptive page titles and link text;
supporting keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus;
maintaining sufficient colour contrast;
providing text alternatives for meaningful images;
labelling forms and interactive controls clearly;
designing responsive layouts that work at different screen sizes and zoom levels;
respecting reduced-motion preferences where possible;
testing with automated accessibility tools; and
reviewing content and components as the Website changes.
Accessibility status
Studio Kurosiwo aims for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. However, the Website has not yet undergone a complete independent accessibility audit, so we do not currently claim full conformance.
We continue to review and improve the Website. Any accessibility issue reported to us will be investigated and prioritised according to its impact.
Known limitations
Some content or functionality may not yet provide the best possible accessible experience. Potential limitations may include:
older portfolio images that have incomplete alternative text;
embedded content supplied by third-party services;
videos or animations that do not yet include captions, transcripts or audio descriptions;
downloadable documents that have not been fully optimised for assistive technology; and
experimental project demonstrations that use complex interactions.
Third-party content may be outside Studio Kurosiwo’s direct control. Where possible, we will provide an accessible alternative or help you obtain the information in another format.
Browser and assistive-technology compatibility
The Website is designed to work with current versions of commonly used browsers, operating systems and assistive technologies.
Older browsers or unsupported combinations of browsers and assistive technology may not provide the intended experience. Keeping your browser and assistive technology updated can help improve compatibility and security.
Feedback and assistance
If you experience an accessibility problem, cannot access any part of the Website or need information in another format, please contact Studio Kurosiwo.
Helpful details include:
the address of the affected page;
a description of the problem;
the browser and device you were using; and
any assistive technology you were using.
We will review your request and aim to respond within 10 working days.
Alternative formats
If you need Website content in an alternative format—such as accessible text, large print or a simplified document—please contact us.
We will consider your request and make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative.
